Color It Red Blog Hop

I'm very happy to be participating in another hop, this one brought to us by Carol at Just Let Me Quilt.

Here's the list of today's participants:

*********************************

For my project, I designed a WoolFelt Penny Rug/Table Mat that I'm calling "Lovely Ladies." It features eight lovely red (of course) ladybugs surrounding a red flower. It measures 16", is fun to sew up, and would be perfect on any Spring/Summer table!

If you'd like to make one for yourself, the pattern is now available in my Etsy Shop:

I love to read your comments and will reply to them all via email, unless you are a No Reply Blogger.

And be sure to visit all the participants in this great hop!

    1. Thanks! They're called "Penny Rugs" because they used to use coins as templates to cut out scraps of wool and other fabrics to make rugs and table coverings. You can read more about the history at these links:

  2. A pretty penny rug! Unfortunately I am allergic to wool but I think it could be made from cottons.

  3. Elizabeth, this is sweet. I love the little ladybugs. I'm sure it would work in cottons as well.
