A big thanks to Carol of Just Let Me Quilt for bringing us this hop!

The theme for this hop is obviously hearts, but with the twist of not using the color red. I decided to go with Spring-like colors and to use hearts as accents for the stars of my piece...butterflies.
I'm calling this pattern, "Fluttering Hearts Penny Rug." It measures 16 inches and is sewn up in National Nonwovens WoolFelt, and DMC embroidery floss.
As you can see, there are hearts on the butterfly wings. The petals on the center flower are heart-shaped too.
If you'd like to make one for yourself, or someone special in your life, the pattern is available in my Etsy shop.
I love to read your comments, and will respond to them all via email, unless you are a No Reply Blogger.
