Summer Sensations Blog Hop



A big thanks to Marian as usual for bringing us yet another fun hop!

I've had this project in my mind for a long time, and when I saw the theme of this hop I knew I could finally bring it to life.

I'm calling it "Strawberry Season." It's a cotton and WoolFelt pillow that measures approximately 14" round, and approximately 8" thick when stuffed.

    This design is just great. Unique in the round shape and I like the strawberries!

    Love this pillow, I like how it's brought into the center with the gathering, and the wool strawberries, the checkered fabric, it really just brings it all together nicely. Great pattern Elizabeth, I'm so happy you joined us for Summer Sensations, yours is definitely Summer Sensational. :)

    Very nice, I like strawberries but I see a Snowman on the side that I really like.

    What a pretty pillow. I have never used Wool Felt in anything before. I found a local quilt shop which carried it and then, before I went back to buy some to try it, she'd closed. Last summer I found another little shop which opened near my house that sold it and she is right now in the process of closing.

    Fresh strawberries are one of my favorite summer foods. My grandmother had a big patch so we ate them a lot during the month of June.
