Before I answer that question, I'd like to thank Madame Samm and Pauline for cheering us on in another fun blog hop! I'm excited it involves embroidery, since the very first craft I embraced (many years ago) was cross stitch. Since then, I have periodically completed embroidered projects and even developed a few original designs of my own.
Now back to the question at hand...what is my superpower? I think all creative people feel compelled, on some level, to create. What they create doesn't really matter, but the need to create is ever-present. I personally feel lousy if I'm not working on creating something. Is that a sickness? A compulsion? No...it's a SUPERPOWER!
So my superpower is, quite obviously, CREATIVITY!
For my project, I designed a simple stitchery that I'm calling "Creativity in Bloom."
I stitched it up using DMC six-strand floss (three strands at a time), and three simple stitches: back stitch, fly stitch, and french knots. At the end of this post you'll find a link to the pattern (for the stitchery only) and a list of the colors and stitches that I used. This is my giveaway to you all!
After completing the embroidery, I turned it into a wall hanging. I used green cotton fabric, and some very simple straight line quilting and binding.
Thanks for leaving a comment (I will

address), and please visit all the other creative super heroes on today's list:
