Living in Nova Scotia where you are never far from the ocean, gulls are neighbours. Sometimes they sit in a group of 20 or so on a raft anchored in front of my little cottage. I wonder if they are having a meeting, or just chillin'. At other times they are swooping landing on the waves and settling in to fish. I'm sure they would approve of your creations too. I agree that the...Those pesky gulls are wonderful. I agree that they are often annoying. My favorite gull experience was when we visited Cape Cod, Mass one summer. We couldn't understand where all the shells were coming from in the parking lot of a nearby place. Then we spent time watching and witnessed the seagulls dropping mollusks and other closed shells from high distances to purposely crack them. Once the shell cracked, they would then swoop down and eat the contents before heading back to the water for more.
